According to a confirmation made by Minaj her Royal self on Twitter yesterday, a new album is imminent. Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded will be upon us this coming February, 2012. On Valentine’s day, no less.
Boring story: Roman is Minaj‘s gay male alter ego. We got a little taste of him on Pink Friday’s opening track “Roman’s Revenge”.
I am of the opinion that the alter ego shit is getting old. Thank Gaga for that. However, I couldn’t get enough of Pink Friday when it was released and still can’t. So, if a different perspective from the gay male point of view as interpreted by the likes of Minaj’s freak mind brain can make what was already baby fresh and innovative rhymes and delivery that much fresher, so be it. I’ll bite.
Basically what I’m saying is: I can’t wait for this album to drop. It better be good. Or I am going to kick Minaj in the pelvic bone.
