Because I don’t live in the UK, I don’t have access to the BBC. So I don’t know who half the people in this holiday advert is. However, due to my excessive viewing of BBC America on this side of the pond, I did recognize comedian and late night talk show host Graham Norton tickling the ivories as well as Doctor Who’s Matt Smith and Karen Gillan.
Though it doesn’t last long, seeing a gleeful Matt Smith tangled in the thick metallic limbs of one of his nemeses, a Cyberman, on a Twister mat while Gillan sat near and watched the shenanigans made me as giddy as children on a Saturday night when the Blue Police Box twirls across the screen. Well played BBC. Well played.
